Superhero Product: Math at Home Monthly Problem Solving!

Teachers are MY heroes, especially my own children's teachers. No one knows better than another teacher how hard each of you work, thinking 24-7 of ways to make that one student understand a concept, pouring your heart into your kids! And one thing I know as a fact is how short we all are on time!  I am linking up with some of my bloggy friends to share with you some of the resources we have created that have helped to make life a bit easier  in the classroom!

The product that saved the day and  has made THE biggest difference for my fourth graders is Math at Home: Monthly Problem Solving Booklets. Aligned to the CCSS, each monthly booklet has open-ended problems perfect for implementing mathematical practices. Student make a plan, solve using picture/diagrams, numbers, and explain their strategy for solving. Each month there is a recipe with a real world math connection. Math at Home is a weekly homework; perfect for reinforcing skills and having students explain their thinking!
